15 minutes down the road in Lower Hutt is the Queensgate Shopping Centre with over 140 stores under one roof. Another five minute drive and you’ll be on Jackson Street in Petone where independent boutique shops sit amongst delis and eateries. Half an hour away in Greytown is a picturesque Main Street of high end fashion and homeware stores. Greytown has been voted the most beautiful town in New Zealand and is certainly worth the visit. Wellington City Centre is compact and easy to walk around with a vast range of boutique and high street brands within a 2km radius.

Jackson Street, Petone - 15km south in Petone. One long street of boutique shops, eateries and bars.

Wellington Central - Variety of stores along the golden mile. 30 minutes by private vehicle or 30 minutes by train. Heretaunga train station is across the road from the entrance of the campus and trains run frequently throughout the week.

Greytown - a 40 minute drive from Upper Hutt, Greytown has it all - fashion, homeware, quirky antique stores, art shops and bric-a-brac, with each shop reflecting the personality of its owners.
